New York: D. & J. Sadler & Co, 1868. Hardcover. First Edition in North America. Tricesimo-secondo. ix. 320pp. + engraved frontispiece. Bound in the publisher cloth with gilt decoration and titling. GOOD. Shows shelf rubbing of the edges and corners with some flaking and loss, some spots of discoloration of the boards, endpaper has been removed, early pages with just a hint of foxing, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.
