Hardcover. Good for age. First published from the original manuscripts in 1851 by the Presbyterian Board of Publication, Philadelphia. Text is clean & tight & unmarked. Tanning of pages throughout, but no foxing noted. Cover has moderate wear with rubbing especially at spine ends; corners are bumped & worn. Gelt lettering on spine partially rubbed. Previous owners' nameplate inside front cover and name written on ffep. Cracking of both hinges, but binding is sound. Last two free end papers are creased and torn.
