Vintage story book for children written in a one syllable style. No date, but probably published around 1885 as the other books in this collection belonged to Olive Rice when she was a child in that era. Lots of black and white illustrations.
Poor condition. Both covers are loose and have much wear on edges, corners, and especially the spine. There is evidence of tape and tape that has torn off of the cover. The pages are still bound together and are made of a heavy paper. There is some age tanning and some soiling, spotting, staining. Text is clean. Illustrations look good.
