Sobre este artículo

"CHRONICLES OF AVONLEA" by L.M. Montgomery. 1912 1st edition, 1st printing (with "First Impression June, 1912" stated on the copyright page); L.C. Page & Company; Boston. With a color frontispiece and front cover illustration by George Gibbs. From the title page: "In which Ann Shirley of Green Gables and Avonlea plays some part, and which have to do with other personalities and events including The Hurrying of Ludovic, Old Lady Lloyd, The Training of Felix, Little Joscelyn, The Winning of Lucinda, Old Man Shaw's Girl, Aunt Olivia's Beau, The Quarantine at Alexander Abraham's, Pa Sloane's Purchase, The Courting of Prissy Strong, The Miracle at Carmody, and finally The End of a Quarrel. There are six pages of advertisements at the back. Condition: Some light soiling / staining to the covers and spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. There is an insignificant crack at the front hinge between the bibliography page and frontispiece - despite the crack, the front cover is still firmly attached and is not shaky. Nice interior - the text pages are lightly age-toned and clean with only an occasional, random light foxing spot and smudge to a small number of pages; page 181 has a tiny piece that has torn away at the bottom edge. There is an old inscription written in pen dated 1914 on the front end paper. The rear end paper has few illegible words written in pen in tiny handwriting at the upper-inner corner...below the handwriting is a small piece of paper remnant. Overall the book is in Good+ condition.
