Belfast, Alexander Mackay, 1816 1st. Hardback, 7 x 4.5 inches. Full polished calf leather with gilt lettering to front and inset lighter leather strip to front and rear boards. Marbled endpapers. In very good condition. Later fine leather binding. Later endpapers. Slight fading to spine, some minor handling marks to boards. Else clean and smart. Chip to top corner of fist few pages (up to approx p50.) and last couple of pages at rear. Small tear to edge p9/10. Pages a little darkened, moderately foxed around page edges, a few handling marks. Binding tight and sound. Else a very good clean and tight copy. xi + 324pp. Lacks frontis plate.
