Thomas Wilson and Son. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1810. First. Hardcover. Full leather binding, gilt edging, marbled page edges. Gilt spine titles and fleur-de-lis, black spine label. Decorated endpapers. Owner bookplate inner board, owner label with inscription inner board. Mild edgewear to top/bottom of spine and corners bumped, two severely. Rear board spine has 1 1/2" cracked area to bottom of outer hinge. Inner hinges are sturdy, binding is tight and inner pages unmarked. Front free endpapers show moderate foxing. ; Author Fawkes (1769-1825) was best known as patron of artist J. M. W. Turner and a Member of Parliament for the Whig Party. Each "Epoch" in the volume is represented by a geaneological table listing rulers in order of succession. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall .
