CONDITION: UNREAD, but not perfect, 1994 Warner Books hardcover (blue decorated boards - see scan) and dust jacket (in mylar cover), first edition, first printing. Color illustrations by Chuck Jones. PROBLEM: When I received the book several pages had been trapped behind the dust jacket front flap causing a small "pull" or small disruption in the binding at page 10. Not bad, but there. CONTENT: Ever since it was created in 1936, Prokofiev's classic musical story Peter and the Wolf has been beloved by children and adults the world over. This book, published almost sixty years later, presents a new retelling of Peter and the Wolf created by animation legend Chuck Jones and conductor/director George Daugherty. There is also a new DVD version, but it is a separate offering.
