Paris: Editions Cercle d'Art, (1956)., (1956).. Very good. - Quarto, 10-1/2 inches high by 8-1/4 inches wide. Softcover, bound in plain stiff wrappers housed in a red dust jacket titled in yellow, blue and maroon on the front cover and in blue on the spine, with a screen print by Gischia on the rear panel. The jacket's spine is slightly faded with minor wear to the head and tail of its spine. 152 & [2] pages with profuse full page illustrations in color and black & white. An early booksellers' dicreet label is mounted on the rear pastedown and there are a couple of minor stain's to the book's fore edge. Very good.
First trade edition.
The work is a fully illustrated presentation of costumes and theater sets created by the five artists.
