CONDITION: AS NEW due to previous owner's name on the loose end page (I will send a bookplate to cover this if you like). This book was originally published in about 1960 under the name Our Incredible Civil War. Now renamed, this "new" edition was published in 1982 by Fairfax Press with this printing being the 28th. Although this looks much like a facsimilie edition, I can't claim that to be true. Wonderful B&W drawings by Raymond Houlihan. CONTENT: The Author provides us with fresh insights into the mind of Robert El Lee, who liked to have his feet tickled when he read aloud to his children, and into the curious world of the hypochondriacall Stonewall jJackson, who was comfortable only when in a bolt upright position, with this organs held naturally one atop another. You may also be surprised that the Civil War was known by at least 25 different names, i.e., The War for the Union. The Great Rebellion, and the War of the sixties. Lots of great odd information here.
