Course Number 255. Overall, Very Good+. Size: 8.75 x 5.65 x 1.25 inches. Weight: 28 ounces. Video: VHS.Arnold Louis Weinstein (born July 8, 1940) is an American literary scholar. He is currently Edna and Richard Salomon Distinguished Professor of Comparative Literature at Brown University. He joined the faculty at Brown University in 1968, and was promoted to full professor a decade later. In 2007, he delivered the keynote address, titled "Reading Proust, Tracking Bears, at Brown," at the Opening Convocation of the university's 244th year. Weinstein is the author of numerous articles and eight full-length books. In 2009, The Atlantic's literary editor Benjamin Schwarz named Weinstein's study of Scandinavian modernism, Northern Arts: The Breakthrough of Scandinavian Literature and Art, from Ibsen to Bergman, one of the 25 best books of the year.
