Sobre este artículo
London: Hales-Owen. Good with no dust jacket. 1845. First Edition. Hardcover. (iv) + 106 pages. Frontis plate with tissue guard. Including catalogue of Crompton family portraits at Hagley Hall, the seat of Viscount Cobham. A very pretty little book with smooth calf spine and corners outlined with gold ruling, gold title to fc. Spine has 5 raised bands outlined in gilt with two red labels. Both boards are detached as is typical with this era binding. Corners of the boards are a little scuffed, but otherwise very nice. Interior has just a bit of foxing, otherwise crisp and clean. A very attractive copy of this hard to find little book. ; 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall; 106 pages .
