Aurora, New York.: The Roycrofters.. Very Good. 1910. First Edition. Flexible leather. 4to - 26.5 x 20.5 cm.; (10) - 396 - (8) pp. Not published by Roycrofters but rather printed and bound in their East Aurora shop. From the title page: "Drawings by associated Cleveland artists". Green suede over thin and flexible stock with gilt lettering on a black panel with blind stamped decorative borders on the front cover. Previous owner's name in gilt (Edward C. McKay, one of the caricatures - page 305) on the lower front fore corner. Blue silk end papers both front and back. One cm. yap on the three open sides. Blue silk book mark ribbon attached at one time to the headband - not so anymore, 'tis loose. The head edge of the text block is trimmed, the fore and tail edges are not. Four page index ("Roster") of the caricatures at the back. The suede cover show only mild wear and some scuffing / rubbing with 2 small pulls (tears) at the spine head. The interior pages show some light age-toning and that mostly to the page margins. The text block edges are darkened. The binding is solid and sound. All-in-all, a well done volume with good presentation. .
