Sobre este artículo
Random House, 1946. First edition, First Printing. Good / Good. A clean, unmarked copy. Front hinge a bit loose, but the age-darkened pages are fully attached. A beautifully illustrated dust jacket with the original $2.50 price intact. Chipping and wear at extremities and some paper loss at base of spine; however, presents well in protective mylar cover. Ford and MacBain tell the story of the United States' first participation in black warfare and espionage, based largely on their first-hand OSS experiences. Includes a tribute by Maj. Gen. William J. Donovan. Very scarce in dust jacket, and basis for the 1946 Fritz Lang film with Gary Cooper. Carefully packaged and shipped in a box.
