Sobre este artículo

London: Collins Clear-Type Press 768 pp, 16mo (6 1/8" H). Thin burgundy leather over card covers/spine - gold lettering and decoration on spine, top edge gilt. Burgundy endpapers, b&w frontispiece. **No dustjacket or slipcase.** Set in the 15th century, the novel follows Gerald Eliassoen as he leaves Holland for Rome in an attempt to earn money to support his family. A malicious plot by his brothers leads him to believe his wife and child have died and, grief-stricken, he becomes a Dominican friar. When he later learns the truth, he is torn between his obligations to his family and the Church. Very light edge wear - mostly at corners.. Full-Leather. Very Good.
