Sobre este artículo

London: Jonathan Cape, 1972. First edition. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 9" by 5.5". None. A first edition of this work of fiction about a Hollywood star by Len Deighton. A first edition of the work. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. This work is written by British author Len Deighton. Deighton is a prolific author and has written cook books and historical military works, though he is best known for his spy novels. In this work we meet ageing Hollywood star Marshall Stone. When he hears that a famous author is writing his biography he soon finds himself reliving painful memories and scandals seek to destroy the fictitious version of his life that he has created. This work was inspired by Len's own experiences in the film industry. In the publisher's original cloth and original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally excellent with some bumping to the extremities. The wrap is in good condition with chipping, creasing and the odd mark. Internally firmly bound with clean bright pages. White mark to title page and reverse of the front free end paper. Front blank has been excised. Fading to top edge. Very Good
