New York: Dodd, Mead and Co, 1931. Hardcover. Good +. "Eighty-sixth thousand." [2], 192 p., frontispiece portrait; 20 cm. Top page edges gilt. Polished black morocco over flexible boards with gilt-stamped spine title and decoration of spine and front cover. Former owner's name on front fixed endpaper: Katinka Loeser. Written on the front free endpaper, is the verse about Brooke by Frances Cornford beginning "A young Apollo." Katinka Loeser (1913-1991) was a poet and author of short stories. In Good+ Condition: edges rubbed, with loss of leather at corners and upper edges of front cover; a few pencilled marginal marks; a few margins soiled; otherwise, clean and tight.
