Red cloth over boards, title stamped in black onto upper board and spine, top edge stained red, 8vo (8 inches tall), pp. ix, 524. Volume with spine ends a little softened, slight browning at hinges from binder's high acid glue. DJ with fade to spine, edge wear, closed tears of 3 and 1 inch to front panel, scattered soil. The only appearance in print of Hecht's short story "Specter of the Rose
