Publisher's dark green half morocco over paler green cloth, spine with raised bands, gilt lettered to one panel and decorated to the others, all edges gilt, matching green solander box with a gilt lettered circular morocco label to the upper panel, the prospectus loosely inserted. 50 colour plates with accompanying leaf of text. The box slightly dusty, slight spotting to the first title page, excellent condition overall. A fine facsimile of this beautiful work first published in Vienna in 1798, printed and bound at the Scolar Press, Ilkley.
