Frontispiece illustrated with color plate of Croton, a passenger engine built for the Hudson River Railroad in 1851. Fully illustrated with 150 illustrations in black and white and 44 in color. White pages clean, very good condition. Endpapers are spotless and illustrated with railway company names and logos. Red cloth over grey boards. Black title on spine. Boards lightly worn and faded at edges. Corners lightly worn. Brown dust jacket illustrated on upper cover with color plate of the Phantom and b/w plate on lower cover. Edges worn. VG/Good+. Hard Cover.
