This is an antique collegiate poetry anthology, "In College Days - Recent Varsity Verse" chosen by Joseph Le Roy Harrison. 1901 1st edition; Knight & Millet; Boston. Dozens of colleges are represented including Amherst College, Boston University, Cornell University, Brown University, Dartmouth College, Georgetown University, Harvard University, M.I.T., Notre Dame, The University of Michigan, Princeton University, Yale University...and many more. Gilt top page edges.
Condition:
Some light soiling to the front cover; the back cover has a bit heavier soiling as well as a few small stains; sharp corners. The lettering and illustration on the spine has faded a bit. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Bright gilt top page edges. There is a very light stain that appears at the outer page edge starting around page 168 and continues throughout the rest of the book. Some pages are still attached along the outer edge; a few pages have been separated, resulting in tears at the outer edge. Overall the book is in Good condition.
