One of an unspecified limited number of printings of an essay prepared for the Society of Colonial Wars in New York and delivede in November 1917. "Colonel" John Scott was one of the most picturesque and far-wandering scoundrels of the late 17th century; he was a spy, informer, murderer, Royal Geographer and one of the most colorful characters in colonial American lore. Very good with general rubbing. No jacket issued.
