Vol. I has an eighteen-page introduction followed by the following chapters: Chests, Chests of Drawers, Cupboards and Sideboards, Desks and Scrutories, Looking-Glasses. Vol. II has the following chapters: Chairs; Settees, Couches and Sofas; Tables; Bedsteads; and Clocks. The prolific illustrations add a great deal to this excellent reference. This third edition has supplementary chapters and one hundred and thirty six additional plates. Shipping weight is 12 pounds.
