London: Self Published By the Author. Fair. 1895. Hardcover. 274 + ads p. 21.5 cm. Bound in red, cloth-covered thin boards. Both hinges have split but boards are still holding to the text block by the mull. Spine and corners are heavily worn, with loss to the head of the spine. Marking on both boards and spine, which are likely insect predation. Rear free endpaper is gone. Inside pages have occasional soil and stains. A guidebook to the British colony of Natal and its railway system, at the end of the 19th century. The colony now forms the province of Natal in South Africa. Illustrated with numerous black and white photographs and one fold-out diagram. Twenty pages of British business ads at rear. .
