Sobre este artículo
Osaka, Japan: Huikusha. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1955. Hardcover with Slipcase. A clean, pristine copy of this wonderfullly illustated guide to Japanese shells. The book itself is crisp and tight, with some foxing on the edges which does not affect the pages. The jacket has one small closed tear, but is otherwise excellent, and the whole is encased in a slipcase. The text is in Japanese, but the hundreds of illustrations of shells are labelled both in English, or rather, Latin, as well as Japanese. A citation for each shell is also given in English (Fulton, Reeve, Lamy, etc.--if you're a student of shells then you probably know what this means), and there is an index by Latin names in English, so the book is quite user-friendly for the non-Japanese reader. .
