Some foxing/spotting to endpapers/prelims and occasionally elsewhere, but mostly clean. Small perforation to one leaf with loss of a few letters of text. Duplicated typescript list of Plates of eggs tipped in at rear of each volume. Bookplates of James S. North, from a design by C. Haldane Macfall dated 1901. A fine set.. First octavo edition, complete in 7 volumes. Fine hand-coloured plates of birds (322) and eggs (103). Also with cancel of plate facing p. 50 in Vol. II.Nissen IVB 628..
