1983. Print. New. Moebius (Jean Giraud). Screenprint by Moebius (Jean Giraud) on Acid-free Paper. SIGNED NUMBERED PRINT. Size: 13" x 18" (325mm x 455mm). An Early drawing by Moebius (Jean Giraud) reproduced here as a rare hand signed screen-print edition on super lush heavy duty French Arches paper. This screenprint is hand signed and is from a numbered edition of 150 (number may vary from photograph shown) This image appeared in the 'Futures' section of the 1983 publication 'La Memoire du Futur'. Interestingly, the girl in the chair is wearing a Spider-Man T-Shirt, and the publication dated to the year Moebius was set to move to America where he ended up collaborating with Stan Lee and working with Marvel - the inclusion of the Spider Man emblem could have been a nod to the future. Another notable feature of this piece is Moebius' mastery of perspective - achieving so much with so little.
