San Francisco: Coming Up! Inc, 1981. Newspaper. 8p. tabloid newspaper, news, reviews, columns, features, ads, services, resources, calendar of events, photos, mild toning else very good on newsprint. The above-the-fold story is on Gay Freedom Day. A slight publication that is mostly a centerfold calendar of events with a few articles on and reviews of local stage and cabaret productions. The tabloid began life as San Francisco Bay Times. That paper folded quickly and was reformed as Coming Up! Later reformed as San Francisco Bay Times and focused more on political news.
