Book interior VERY FINE, Covers Very Fine, No dust jacket as issued, or is missing. Sewn binding. Covers and spine are blue cloth, gilt lettering. Very faint shelf wear on bottom of spine and tips of lower corners, same on the top with a tiny pull in the cloth on upper front corner tip. Page edges clean, bright. Inside of book clean, tight, bright, looks unread. No illustrations. One black/white photo. On July 22, 1916 a bomb went off during a Preparedness Day Parade with 10 killed. The Law and Order Committee, by coincidence, had just been formed to look into the labour disputes and violence. Frederick J. Koster was the head of the Committee. The Mooney-Billings trial was where labour and business came face to face.

IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
