Folding engraved 'Chart of the World' as frontispiece, plus 12 other folding maps viz: East Indies; Spain and Portugal; France; Italy; Netherlands; United Provinces; German Empire and Switzerland; Prussia and Poland; Dominions of Russia; Sweden, Denmark and Norway; Great Britain and Ireland; States of America. All hand-coloured in outline. 12mo (5 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches), pages: xxii:404:(4), contemporary full tan calf. Lacking backstrip, stitching cracked and text block now broken into 4 parts. Damp tide-mark to about thirty pages of the European section and a few pages at end, front free endpapers tape marked. The 13 maps correctly folded and very good.
