Publisher's advertisements for A. Millar on one page following text. Lacking frontispiece. Small printed bookplate on front fixed endpaper of Samuel Eakin, dated 1763. Most of another small printed bookplate, dated 1793, has been removed. Former owners' names on front fixed endpaper largely erased. Former owner's name in pencil at head of p. [1]: "S.P. Shinn, 1860." Lacking frontispiece; otherwise, in Good+ Condition: edges rubbed; joints starting but solid, with minor loss at head of front joint; small hole in leather on front board; lacking both free endpapers and lower corner of last leaf, with minor loss from publisher's advertisement; foxing; former ownership marks, as noted; otherwise, clean and tight.
