First Gallienne edition. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall; lxxxiv, (iv), 428, (xiv) Angler's Calendar, by Hi Regan, (iv) Advertisements. Frontispiece portrait of Walton, illustrated throughout with full page and vignette illustrations. Tan cloth boards with green text to front, spine and rear; rough cut edges. Stamped date and place and inked name to free endpaper, otherwise, contents are in fine, unmarked condition. Some sunning and rubbing to boards and edges; binding is tight and square. A very nice copy.
