DJ and boards show shelf wear, what apears to be insect damage along dustjacket spine, title is illegible, some chipping. Slight sticker damage on front free end paper ; A tight solid book, dustjacket in Mylar, unclipped, hinges intact.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 94 pages; 24 brief fairy tales, each based on a proverb. These were originally published in 1915 under the title 'Four and Twenty Blackbirds' just before Thomas was killed in WWI .
