Sobre este artículo
This guidebook is in fairly good condition with green cloth hardcover boards, somewhat discolored and lumpy. Back and front boards are embossed and with gilt lettering of title on the front and spine. Binding sound, pages clean. Few pages loose but still attached, most still tight. The volume is 4.5"x7.5" and has five tissue-covered plates, plus a folded linen-backed map at the end. The frontispiece has a pastedown of 1846 omnibus and steamboat schedules. Features edited by J. Hudson include Wordsworth's descriptions of the scenery of the country and four letters describing the geology of the lake district by the Rev. Professor Sedgwick.
