London: H. Woodfall. Very Good+ with No dust jacket as issued. 1739. Second Revised Edition. Hardcover. Beautifully bound in quarter leather with gilt spinal label and restrained tooling to spine. Marbled paper covered boards. Normal wear to hinges, leather not split except for less than one inch at the head of the spine both front and rear. Normal abrasive wear to leather corners, but corners are still closed (no board showing). Previous owner's script name on upper left corner of title page. Front hinge inside showing. Securely bound block has no loosening signatures. 376 pages plus unpaginated index. Ghosting to front and rear endpapers from papers previously tucked inside covers. Binding appears late 18th or early 19th century. .
