Illustrated dustwrapper, a portrait of the author by Noel Counihan, with dark blue coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Title says it all. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with rubbing of the top book corners and lower book edges. Tanning and marking of the text block edges. Gift inscription to the top right hand corner of the free front end page. Chipping and tearing to the rear dustwrapper corners. Creasing of the dustwrapper edges with a small tear to the top left hand corner of the back strip. Rubbing of the panels and there is sunning to the back strip and rear panel.
