The complete collection of the works of the famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns. Including popular poems such as 'To A Mouse' and 'Tam O' Shanter' and the famous song, 'Auld Lang Syne'. With a New Life of the Poet, and critical and biographical notes by Allan Cunningham. Missing eight pages between page 160 and 169. In half calf binding. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities and spine. Marks to the boards. Front hinge is starting but firm. Rear hinge is loose. A few handling marks to the paste-downs and free endpapers and some offsetting to the free endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound. Missing eight pages between page 160 and 169. Binding strained in several places throughout, but still firm. Some scattered spots and offsetting throughout, heavier around the plates. Handling marks throughout, heavier to the preface. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
