Sobre este artículo

Padua, Ex officina Laurentii Pasquatii et sociorum, 1562.. FIRST EDITION. 4°, disbound in much later wrappers (wrappers soiled; spine defective). Circular woodcut printer's device on title page. Woodcut initial. Italic type throughout, except for the title page. Gatherings loose. Some minor soiling. In good to very good condition. 11 [i.e., 10] leaves [final leaf misnumbered 11], signed A-B4, C2. *** FIRST EDITION [?]. Another edition, or issue, appeared in Brescia the same year; each had the date 24 May on the title page. Both have the same number of leaves and the same collation by signatures. We are unable to establish priority. Pedro de Fuentidueña, a native of Segovia, was a leading humanist and theologian. He was associated with Benito Arias Montano, and took an active part in the Council of Trent. *** Adams F728; cf. F727 for the Brescia imprint. British Museum, Italian Pre-1601 STC, p. 273. Palau, 95504. On Pedro de Fuentidueña, see Rubio Fuentes y Vaquero Chinarro, "Un insigne segoviano en el siglo XVI alcalaíno: Pedro de Fuentidueña (1513-1579)," in Anales Complutenses, Nº. 8, (1996), pp. 49-76. Italian Union Catalogue: 11 copies in 10 locations. Jisc lists copy in Bodleian Library-Oxford University; KVK (50 databases searched) repeats Jisc and locates copies in Bibliothek der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Bayerische Staatsbibliothek München, Staatliche Bibliothek Regensburg, Bibliothek der Stifung Deutsches Historisches Museum Berlin. CCPBE cites four copies in Spanish Libraries: Universidad de Salamanca-Biblioteca General Universitaria, Biblioteca Diocesana de Zamora, Biblioteca de Cataluña-Barcelona, Universidad de Valencia-Biblioteca Histórica ("Ej. deteriorado").
