London: Chatto & Windus. Octavo (printer's signatures each eight leaves). Green, cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. No inscriptions. The dust jacket has at the front the same illustration, specially painted by Pamela Bianco, as that on the dust jacket of "A Moment in Time", a collection of stories by the same author and published in the same year. Very minor wear and ageing only. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is protected by a clear, removable cover. Scarce in this condition.
