Wear and small edge chips at head and tail of spine. A tight and attractive later printing (first published 1911) of this courtroom thriller by a pioneer of that genre, a New York County assistant district attorney (1875-1945) who authored many legal fictions and immortalized attorney Ephraim Tutt.
