Ex-library, though exterior library treatments have cleaned up beautifully. Light wear and just a touch of soiling to cloth. Light soiling and minor wear to edges of pages. Binding slightly shaken, but generally firm. A short gift inscription in ink to first page and unobtrusive, light pencil to a small number of pages. Mild tanning to interior. A good, clean, sound and attractive copy, overall. There is an old protective cover in place that could easily be removed, if desired. The tape that holds this cover in place has left small browned areas to endpapers.
