Garden City: Sun Dial Press, 1945. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. Reprint Edition. Near Fine in a Good jacket, unclipped (100100), generally toned, chipped and with some closed tears. Beige buckram, some rubbing at the surface, black ink lettering on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, clean internally. An early Greene nove of international espionage inspired in part by the Spanish Civil War. The novel was adapted into the 1945 film starring Charles Boyer and Lauren Bacall.

Sinopsis

Graham Greene (1904-1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the foreign office. His many books include The Third Man , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
