Sobre este artículo

New York: The Viking Press, 1939. First American Edition. A stunning copy of one of Greene's early "entertainments," basis for Herman Shumlin's 1945 film noir starring Charles Boyer, Lauren Bacall, and Peter Lorre. Wobbe A15.b; Hubin, p.175; The Dark Page, Vol.1, pp.120-121. First Printing. Octavo (19.5cm); powder gray cloth, with titling and decorative elements stamped in black and orange on spine and front cover; yellow topstain; dustjacket; [8],302pp. Spine ends gently nudge, vintage booksellers ticket to lower rear pastedown, else very Near Fine, with the topstain bright and unfaded. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $2.00), showing some trivial wear along spine ends and front flap fold, with a tiny tear to upper corner of rear flap fold; bright, unfaded, and very Near Fine.
