Upwards of 300 illustrations, from tiny vignettes of plant life and idols, to full page illustrations of battles. The authentic costumes are terrific. Hard as it is for us to believe, it looks like all the art is indeed by Henderson.
Blind-stamped cover titles and small design, spine titles and another vignette in gilt. Top edge gilt. Uncut. Heavy beveled covers. Endpaper maps different front and rear, repeated in each volume. Fully indexed.
