London: Victor Gollancz Ltd, 1963 8vo. original blue boards gilt (rubbed & a little sunned, a few marks and some wear at extremities, short inscrip. to FFE, leaf edges tanned; lacks dustwrapper); pp. 352 (last blank), with illustrations. A very good copy. [Neate T19: Terray was a French climber whose conquests included the Eigerwand, Fitzroy, Annapurna, Makalu and Jannu. He died in a climbing accident]. Although signed, this copy comes from the collection of 60s Peak hard man, Jack Street, with a gift inscription from his wife.. First English. Hard Cover. VG-/No Jacket.
