Sobre este artículo

Soft cover. Very Good. 8vo. Original pale yellow printed wrappers. Denver: Tribune Book and Job Printing House, 1876. First Edition. McMurtrie and Allen, Early Printing in Colorado, page 433. The constitution was presented with the objective of bringing Colorado into the Union. Discussed are boundaries, bill of rights, distribution of powers, executive department, legislative department, congressional and legislative apportionment, judicial department, supreme court, district courts, district attorneys, county courts, criminal court, justices of the peace, police magistrates, suffrage and elections, state institutions, education, revenue, public indebtedness, impeachments, counties, corporations, mining and irrigation, militia, etc. The constitution makers of Colorado were skilled artificers. It was a noble document, with those errors only which the course of events develops. (Bancroft p.43) The address to the voters ends with the query: Who is there among you that would not rather be a citizen of an independent state, than a mere settler upon public lands of the territory, governed by satraps appointed and removed at pleasure. . .? This constitution brought Colorado into the Union. Owners signature and a few small ink marks on front wrapper, minor chip to top right corner, o/w Very Nice.
