It describes the structure of the system, how it is "broken up into 17,500 consumers' societies which are associated into 2780 district unions, into 158 regional, territorial and republican unions into the USSR Central Union of Consumers' Societies (Centrosoyus), the latter is composed of unions of consumers' societies of the 15 Union Republics." Text is in Russian, English, French and Italian. .
