RARE Salesman's Dummy, consisting of an outer folder, in full red morocco, gilt decorations, inset gilt castle design, interior plush red velvet. and samples of spines for the 2 volumes. Inner pink paper folder has one chapter laid in, "La belle et la bete" ("Beauty and the Beast"), with colored illustrations and gilded by Lucy Boucher in the style of illuminated manuscripts of the Middle Ages. Very Good Plus, light wear and soiling exterior, inner folder light soiling. Quite unusual. . Morocco. Very Good Plus/No Jacket, As Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Salesman's Dummy.
