Chocolate brown endpapers with black printed advertising on both front and rear pastedowns for two other contemporary publications by Longman, Green and Co. Condition: Good, with light shelfwear to covers. Light bumping to head and tail of spine and cover corners. Light foxing to endpapers. Previous owners name written in ink at top of title page (Frederick Collingwood of Glanton Pyke, Northumberland). Light creasing to top corner of pages 73 to 81. 119pp. B/w frontispiece and eight other b/w illustrations. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
