Carl Focke, Leipzig, 1839. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Seven volumes (complete). In German throughout. Each volume has the ex-libris plate of the famous, bon vivant and silk, W O Danckwerts. Also previous owner signatures and stamps. All are quarter leather. Marbled boards. The boards and spines have wear, scuffing, marks and scuffing. The spines are robustly assured with some labels (very worn). The spines, despite the wear, creasing are convivial. The contents show their vintage and are largely utilitarian, diligent, competent. Volume I: Second (Zweite, durchaus, verbesserte, voon Dr Sintenis besorgte, Auflage) edition. Volume II: pub 1831. Volume III: pub 1831. Volume IV: pub 1832. Vol V: pub 1832. Vol VI: pub 1832. Vol VII: pub 1833. Despite the aging, the wear to the boards and spine, the books have a venerable, shabby elegance, eagerness. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
