Biography of the nephew of King Gustavus V of Sweden, who served in the Dragoons (later the Cavalry); as Vice-Chairman and then Chairman of the Swedish Red Cross during WW2, in which capacity he negotiated the German release of Scandinavian prisoners of war; and as United Nations Mediator in Palestine in 1948.
